Pros and cons of Desktop Connect app for iPhone and iPad

Desktop Connect app good for

The most useful app that you can download. I have full access to my MacBook, trough the local network, or trough the internet. My whole files on my iPad screen. Very easy to install. Its really great.

The app works great, even on VPN connections, worth the money.

I use it everyday on my iphone and iPad. One app I couldnt live without.

No problems connecting to all of the computers and sever on my home network. Easy to setup and very intuitive. Only downside is I dont have to get off the couch to solve most problems.

This app is getting better and more stable as time goes on. Its very useful if you have several computer that you need to control. Excellent keyboard and mouse control as well.

This app is working with no problems And getting better all the time and The tech support is there to any Time with quick response.

Some bad moments

Impossible to connect, takes forever with google, and no screen nor instructions! Really a waste of money. Not the apple spirit at all, no intuitiveness even remotely... Haha. Not funny.

I bougth this app and never got it running once! Its support has always an excuse ready ! Do not waste your time and money!!

Not what I did expect. strg-alt-del does not work propely on a Win7 PC, no Proxy-Support with the Desktop App, so its completely useless in Proxy environments, helpdesk is not responding. There are better AND cheaper apps.

To bad that I paid for this one. Not worth a dime. Important features are missing or badly implemented: -international keyboard support (only english layout supported). With i.e. a german bluetooth-keyboard, you are not able to enter : or ; ! -clipboard support (no copy/paste supported) -for keyboard-input, a keyboard-bar has to be switched on - this bar hides parts of the host.screen (i.e. the windows-start-button !). Keyboard-bar could not be moved. So, if you want to use the keyboard, parts of the host screen will be hidden!

Not a solid flash player. Setup was easy, feel like I wasted my money.

This program was very difficult to connect and once connected could not get to disconnect. Support desk placed my issue in a file to be resolved later. Only way to disconnect was to Cancel program what a waste of money
